SceneMill is a video editor for Windows that costs nothing and puts nothing on your video. It needs no account, sends nothing to the cloud and keeps working without the internet. Offline and private
SceneMill is a real Windows program, not a website. Your videos stay on your disk and are opened where they are: nothing is uploaded, and there is no usage tracking. Even the automatic subtitles are made on your own computer.
Windows Movie Maker was discontinued by Microsoft in 2017. Its successor in Windows 11, Clipchamp, asks you to sign in with an account. SceneMill is for anyone who wants an editor that simply opens and works.
